And this is the part most people miss: Trump revealed he had been studying his predecessors, including Jimmy Kimmel, whom he described as 'horrible.'
Kimmel has never hosted the Kennedy Center Honors, but he did pay tribute to David Letterman in 2012. Other notable hosts include Leonard Bernstein, Glenn Close, and Stephen Colbert.
The latest insult is just one in a series of back-and-forth jabs between Trump and Kimmel. In September, ABC suspended Kimmel after his remarks about the tragic shooting of Charlie Kirk. Trump celebrated Kimmel's suspension, calling him 'ratings challenged' and 'talentless.'
